that were the first settlements of the Southwest,
some crumbling in neglet and others still in use
today, like the ones I've painted.
The Rio Grande Gorge between Santa Fe and
Taos is quite the dramatic scenery in the Fall with
the Cottonwoods ablaze in gold against the stark
volcanic flows.
