Chandler Ostrich Festival
Mar. 7, 8, 9, 2008
Chandler, AZ
I was chosen among 13 other artists to decorate a life size Ostrich for the 20th Anniversary of the Ostrich Festival.  This project is similar to the Painted Ponies of Scottsdale, & Painted Cows of Chicago, etc.  They will be on display surrounding the town park near the historical San Marcos Hotel and gallery district until May 5,2008.  Mine is called "Dreamin' In Style" with his head in the clouds, he's dreaming of driving down an Arizona Hwy. in a classic '63 Cadillac 2 door sedan.  He was on the corner of
Boston and San Marcos in the heart of downtown Chandler, as seen in the photo.  You can now see him at the Harrison Branch Chandler Public Library on South Arizona Ave.  He'll be there waiting to greet you as you come in the door!
